The main objectives of SMART-ASD project are:

•        The development of software and protocols for helping professionals and parents to determine the most appropriate technological solutions for the students with autism and/or learning difficulties.

•        The creation of an online training facility to train about the tools created.

•        To run an experimental study to test the efficacy of the created tools for helping people with autism and/or learning difficulties to improve their learning and communication.

•        To train teachers and parents of the participant schools about the use of all the project products.

•        To learn from people with autism.

•        To learn the best practices from other countries

•        To ensure the transferability of the project results to a diversity of contexts and to maximize the impact on different target groups.

SMART-ASD project work has been organized in the following activities:

•        Multiplier Events at Konya (Turkey) and Valencia (Spain), planned to spread project results

•        Training Action at Bath (United Kingdom)

•        Transnational Meetings at Valencia (Spain), Bath (United Kingdom), Konya (Turkey) and Valencia (Spain)
