An experimental research study will be developed and published. The aim of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the SMART-ASD App.
For doing so, an experimental design will be developed. Several aspects will be measured:
• Whether the application of the assessment software is effective and sufficient for determining the IT needs of individuals with ASD and LD?
• Whether the decision making applied (the technologies selected for each student and the training on IT for the people around he/she) is effective for improving the communication and learning abilities of the students with ASD in a 6 month period?
Study results will be available in the form of scientific papers by the end of the project (September 2017).
