SMART-ASD fulfill the ethical requirements and good practices of the three participating countries (Turkey, United Kingdom and Spain) and of the eleven participating organization. A Mixed Panel in each country (with a representative member of each sector: research, teacher’s training, schools and families) will supervise all the ethical issues of the project work.

If I am a parent of a child with autism and learning difficulties, how can I benefit from SMART-ASD?

The tools we are producing are aimed at evaluating the needs of your child with autism in terms of technological support appropriate for his/her current level of performance. Once available, we hope you find the evaluation App useful for you child as it may provide you recommendations and ideas for improving his/her interaction with technology.

The App we are producing is being designed to  help you to analyse both the individual and his/her context in order to by successful when introducing new technological supports for your students with ASD/LD.

If I am a software developer creating Apps for students with autism and/or learning difficulties, how can I join SMART-ASD?

If you produce interesting and useful Apps for ASD/LD, we have a special activity to include you in our project. Please contact us and we will give you details about the process.
